Masked man robs Sanford convenience store

SANFORD - Sanford police are looking for a man they say robbed a convenience store at gunpoint.

Officers responded to a robbery at the Kangaroo at 1130 N. Horner Blvd. at 2:18 a.m. Thursday, according to Sanford police.

An employee at the store told police that a man walked in with a long-barreled rifle and demanded money. The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of money. The man left the store on foot, according to police.

The man is described as wearing black clothing and a black mask.
